  1. Good afternoon, I have been a long time contributor to game fandoms, mostly the Hitman and Sniper Elite ones. Recently I've runned accross an administrator in the Jagged Alliance fandom that can barely communicate in English and blocked me twice for no reason. The first time was when he told me to add licenses and categories to photos, and then blocked me for 3 days because I added categories to a photo I had already uploaded days before. Now I corrected an extra space for a comma in an article, which he reverted and chastised me with incomprehensible gibberish. When I commplained about his uninteligible English he blocked me for a whole month. Looking at my backlog I discovered he even blocked me from a page in a dispute over him not knowing what in the hell he was doing again. Out of spite he also removed other contributions I made. Who do I have to talk to in order to revert this ridiculous situation and to get rid of this moron?

  3. Question for the Devs: did you guys ever read the book Dogs of War (1974) by Frederick Forsyth?
  4. It's good to see how much the Devs seem to care about the identity of the Mercs. I liked to see my beloved Tex coming back with his "six-shootah" and I enjoyed the discussion about Fauda; I am sure she's a Merc everybody will want to have on their teams. With that said, I did spot a problem with the design of Ivan Dolvich since the first trailer released. As I delineated in this topic here, he needs a total re-work. To sum it up, Ivan needs a better face (no unshaved beard and hobo face), better clothing (begone with the jacket) and buffed (get him muscular).
  5. Ivan Dolvich Gaston Cavalier Cynthia “Fox” Guzzman
  6. I don't like the new facial and body design of Ivan Dolvich in the Jagged Alliance 3's trailer. He is supposed to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Red Heat (1988), as can be seen by Ivans Dolvich and Danko on Red Square next to Saint Nicholas' cathedral and the Kremlin. Now this Ivan of the JA3 trailer looks like a hobo gopnik: he is small framed, weird and ugly face, has a jacket that doesn't fit his design and lacks the charisma of my beloved Dolvich patriarch. As per Dev Diary 3, compromises must be made in order for the character being recognizable so, while his ushanka is also a problem, as this is a headgear for heavy winter while Africa is mostly hot, it is part of his identity. I was going to suggest him wearing the blue beret of the VDV paratroopers and striped shirt (telnyashka), but that's already Igor's character design. So the ushanka can stay, but the jacket needs to go and Ivan must be pumped into a gymn goer like in his older installments; I want Ivan to be big like the Russian soldier in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019). So he could have a shirtless telnyashka and a camouflaged vest (also shirtless) to show his biceps; something akin to Red Scorpion (also from 1988). This camouflaged vest could be in the lizard style so common in Africa. His face also needs to be cleaner, like in the portrait of JA2 and Arnold's. Those three changes would make him into both a recognizable character and a tactical-looking guy for the African battlefield: better face, better clothing and buffed. Quite simple. As Ivan said himself: "Gun, all gun, like finger on hand". Make the Dolviches proud!
