  1. Why they made him younger? He fought ww1 according some voiced lines of him.
  2. I just liberated Ernie Island so I will keep run modless for now. I despise the concept of mines being depleted during your mission (you finish the old game in just a year of you take It super slowly)...too bad luck: they have been used for decades then poof just when you needed them. If no reuban in game then a Reuban mod, also I like trashy mercenary from first game: most MERCS were still super good compared to them.
  3. It depends if MERC is from the beginning. I will go for inexpensive merc team at the beginning picking from recruit. Also for IMP I would try a wololo talker....after all it is supposed to be the leader. But I am not sure it is possible: max skills was capped to 85 in JA2.
  4. Sidney was level 4 since Ja 1. No idea why Fox present since Ja 1 Is still a recruit while Tex (present in Ja 1 but an actor during Ja 2) is elite. Also where are the psycho guys? Fidel seems the last one, Malice isn't there anymore and they were cut in Ja 2 already. They need an AIM for problematic mercenaries.
  5. In that case IMP shouldn't have voiced lines unlike JA2 and be like Fallout
  6. Hitting someone in melee shouldn't always cancel overwatch? I mean an enemy is over your cover and is stabbing you, you aren't a robot that ignores this to focus on trying to kill people in another direction.
  7. Isn't martial arts from Ja2 a perk or a trait aka a perk you get from the start rather than leveling up? A mercenary with 100 Dex and Str won't be able to do Kung fu without It while a mercenary with lower stats can because has the trait. This was introduced in Ja2, in Ja1 you didn't have combat perks but traits were Psycho, blind and forgetful.
  8. Psycho mercs in Ja 2 were boring compared in 1. They just wasted the burst fire but in 1 they refused to move until the enemy is dead and they leave the team of they don't kill enough.
  9. Not turning around when shot it is like some old western, but not being blown away is very bad....is like 10% of cartoons: 90% cases even cartoons character will get blown away, 10% they still with a burned face (sometimes in Tom and Jerry for example).
  10. Ivan bio says he was killing for Lenin and now he is willing to die for Lincoln. He just born in soviet union and speak russian but he is in team with yankee mercenaries since the 90s. Mike Is the shady guy that killed Kennedy and joined with a brutal dictatorship in Ja2.
  11. Animals have different AI than human soldiers, It would be brillant of enemies with different training have different AI
  12. They took that from Xcom, I think they should be able to react only if they have higher level than player's mercs. Even Shadow Tactics that is real time have the simultaneus attack.
  13. Starting guns are terrible for both accuracy and damage, sadly that was never realistic. I remember that even in the first game firing at close range with a S&W required at least 3 shoots for an unarmored enemy.
  14. Nails not being able to use a body armour was fun and colourful. Having a fixed attire can be an issue in the new game. Btw even Roger Dyno Wittman that was One of the most clownish didn't use a Dyno costume on the field.
  15. I liked more traveling merchants like O'Brien....in Deadly Games he sold weapons and you could haggle with him.
