  1. Well it seems like Meltdown herself already developed the first mod. "Big Guns" is available in Steam Workshop. Don't like it though.
  2. IMP, Wolf, Grizzly, Fox, Berry, Livewire leader, "allrounder" ,"crowbar guy", medic, explosives, technician All neccessary skills in one team. Each merc hired for 9 days. Standard difficulty. Approx. 3k left. Let's hope for lots of diamonds.
  3. Will the "scale" or "resolution" of the the time line be adjustible? Right now it seems to show the upcoming 7 days. Changing to 2 weeks or 4 weeks resolution will allow better synchronisation of tasks when using many squads. Just asking, I don't think a fix 7 day forecast is an issue at all.
  4. Had to dig a little bit to avoid a new topic. GOG as well as Steam inform on their shop sites about JA3 voice language is available in english only. Has anyone reliable information about it? I'm just asking. It's reasonable if there are much more lines than in JA2 and a budget imitiation.
  5. I'm a little concerned and worry about GOG not getting the same support than Steam. Happened to some other games and was reported in the reviewso on GOG. Steam version recieved updates, GOG not. Seems to be a contrac issue. I prefer GOG but want to be sure it's supported with the same attention. Anyone who can clearify this?
  6. Getting older time for gaming is a limiting factor for everybody. I liked the JA2 vanilla system but who really gets out of ammo besides very early game or for rare weapons like CAWS or P90. Nowadays tbh I even use Jape to equip the team and have an efficient run trough withing the 5h-8h I can spend in a month. Cartridge size should be realistic in amount, size and weight though. I always were forced to switch to stronger mercenarys to carry more LAWs and Mortar shells in late game. The 1.13 system complexity will be just nice fot enthusiast but is way too much for everyone new to the game or casual gamers.
  7. There's still a lot to do, but I share the optimism. I wouldn't worry about the starting price that much as demand and competition will regulate it soon after release. Heard of a discount on steam at release. Just let us believe in good sales. A larger com will help working on mods.
  8. I agree. Honest critics are important. Its effect or impact highly depends on weather it is expressed in a positive way or not.
  9. For someone who didn't liked JA2 Sci-Fi mode you often refer to an Alien game. A quite dark setting. For us consumers it's good to have some competition. Prices will be regulated by demand and turnovers quite quick.
  10. If you ever try it again. Sneak with a merc around the corner throw TNT in front of her and hide. Repeat to throw more TNT. No need for detonators. Use a grenade to ignite the TNT. Each explosion makes lots of damage. I think 3 batches of TNT were enough.
  11. People already come up with some good ideas within their preview feedbacks. I'm pretty sure smaller mods will be available very soon after release of the game. Personally I don't like adding and testing lots of smaller mods like it's possible for the game project zombiod. I prefer to have on big mod adding more content and depth to a game. 1.13 for JA2 was a class act. Something similar needs lots of time. I'm really optimisitc developers took care of the past, request from the community and also merged it to the current way of game design and theit economical situation. Allowing community mods is really nice as it could make JA3 last for 25 years too.
