    And there are in fact high mountains with snow tops in Africa. Though I would agree that, outside of the pyramids, it has very little old architecture to speak of.

    As for the big cities, there are actually many cities with over 5 million inhabitants in Africa. Besides, JA games have until now always taken place in fictional countries, so that's a moot point.

    Of course there is deep rain forests in Africa, around the Congo area, as i know its even the second biggest rain forest of the world after the Amazon.

    Dont agree with the last line, there were lots of architecture, historical buildings in the Sub Sahara (Black Africa) but the colonial forces destroyed most of them in their invasion.

  2. @Home Thanks a lot for the update, since it released i have finished the game already 6 times (including 2 times in Ironman), am still not tired playing it and thanks for some additional update. The game has more potential to become even better with further updates, my suggestion is also there could be also new enemies (animal and human) and weapons types or as DLC with new mercs etc...

Myself i dont really miss MISS any AIM character of the previous parts, but if i wished for a return as i mentioned a couple times before, i would like to see Hector Alvarez of JA1 (but guess he was seriously wounded, even dead ? or totally retired.) From JA2 AIM roster if i could choice, Malice would suit in perfectly to Grand Chien imo.

     

    Conrad Gillet or Iggy Palkov would be bad either imo but there were not from AIM. Also Hamous was in JA1 & JA2 so it really surprised me that he didnt added in JA3 (he should be there without been DLC).

    About the difficulty of the game, i just finished the game on the hardest difficulty (played on commando first but in mid game increased it to the highest), i must say the difficulty is ok, i had to repeat several sectors but the hardest battles that comes to my mind are The Prison (Good Place), The Colonel Fortress were are like 30 enemies and Eagle`s Nest where are also like 30 enemies together with the Major. The thing i dont like is the enemies fighting each & every time without strategy, storming to you like bullet sponge (like the Storm troopers from Star Wars) but they accuracy are actually not that bad imo. Only the AI is missing for me, dont need to be significantly more difficulty. So at least the enemies can fight differently each time, also hide and wait for you or split into groups to flank you or even call for back ups etc.

  5. After playing a few hours with him in my team, i realise the voice lines arent that smooth, seems like nobody fixed this audio issue properly as yet when you adding up new voice lines, quotes to a new merc or IMP in the modding tool.

    Hope they will over come this issue sooner or later so we can create mercs with proper clean & quality voice lines (which will be totally epic and add more fun into the game), the character model is also flipping all the time like its always in hidden mode. All by all still a nice try but can be much better.

     

    BTW is there any rumours about upcoming DLC`s packs (such new mercs, outfits, guns etc...) I bet they will bring the DLC`s after the console release, lets see.

Fidel was just getting annoyed in my squad cause his not making enough kills so he refused to renew his contract and i open out of boredom Steam to check on what kind of new mods are in there, then immediately the name Jaxx came across my eyes, who is my name sake. I dont usually download those cheaply made IMP`s or mercs but those caught my attention since he had also his own voice lines, so i said damn this is a MUST TRY!

    I really like his bio & character model, a angry redneck veterano, his voice lines may not so professionally made but his serious & dark humoured voice most definitely suit into the Jagged Alliance World.

     

    Replaced him for Fidel, am curious how he will do in my squad. I checked his model more closely, detected a flippering in his model whats a lil odd and what other OG characters doesnt have. But all by all well made, i really needed a chance with a new cool merc, then its over it my name sake hell yea Jaxx Wildman The Savage!!! 🔥🔥🔥

     

    Aren't those beautiful tropical bush and palm trees looking so gorgeous with the lovely stars, oooohhh am just feeling back in Africa once again amigos. 🌾🌴🌴🌠🌴🌴🌾

    They all got gasmasks like Resident Evil Hunk style but the easiest way to take them out is set a overwatch ambush on them before you talk to the Colonel with 1 of your mercs, cause after the convo the fire fight stars right away.

    Does Larry figure, portrait chance too ? Cause i saw him on YouTube with a normal figure, instead his silly look with American football helmet and teddy on his arms.

     

    Could be true about Smiley,that he is from Arulco. Didnt had him as yet.

  10. @wilku Damn thanks it was piece of cake setting the mercs right on the scene with overwatch, i tried my tactic several times today, talking to the Colonel with 1 merc, setting the rest of 5 into ambush then to bait them with the 1 merc all other enemies but the bait merc was getting nailed down each time which was giving me frustration lol.

     

    With this overwatch tactic, got hit only once, seems like setting the machine gun is highly effective, though am using it very rarely.

Let me try out the way you explained, as i wrote above playing on the hardest difficulty, getting the first turn most times but like i said can take out only 3 to 4 enemies if i got all six around the Colonel convo area, firstly firing with Fauda a RPG so 2 to 3 enemies (may only 1 dies and the remaining 2 are still in good condition) then finishing the 2 wounded ones and may 1 another with the snipers but in the 2. turn they bringing the half of the HP down of most mercs (possibly 1 merc even dies), not a huge fan of overwatch but i will give it a try as you said.

    My tactic was to talk to the Colonel with 1 merc (who has high agility) so i can run away from the scene and bait the commandos to my 5 mercs that is on ambush.

     

    The thing is Igor (my merc with highest agility) doesn't manage to survive to escape from there, if i could bring all those enemies to my ambush area, am sure i would clean them out before they even reach to me.

    AP on armored enemies, HP on unarmored. That simple.
    And you can't always 1shot them, because you're not hidden so you don't get a stealth kill.

    Hint: there's an ammo type that increases the crit chance - that will help in certain cases.

    The thing is you are flanked right after the convo with the Colonel (yes i want to take the dialogue with the Colonel), by his elite guys (like 9 or 10, including a Sergeant & a Lieutenant "Very Strong") that will damage totally your whole squad by the next turn, so i tried to send only Igor to the convo with the Colonel since he can run away way further then most other mercs but he still gets nailed down while my other 5 mercs are waiting for ambush.

     

    At least if i could kill by 1 turn the enemies in front of me it would be ok but can only kill like 3 or 4 of them in the very first turn and the rest nailing me still down.

     

    If i had a 2.squad i could have it done though by the very first turn but not with 6 mercs only.

     

    Or what is the best way to clean then all without to get seriously hit ?

Interesting notes, those well equipped guys (looking like Hunk of Resident Evil) of the Colonel with gasmask are really strong, you have to give them with the usual sniper rifles like 2 head shots or 3 - 4 body shots, is there any bullet type that you guys could suggest so i can kill them by 1 shot ?

     

    Then over it the gas mortars will drain you dead tired and i dont have enough gasmasks for all of my mercs.

     

    BTW i took it now to the highest difficulty and hell yea its challenging, especially against those elite guys but i dont have yet the very best weapons either to be honest.

I just completed the Biff quest where comes like 3 to 4 troops back to back, then Corazon said there will be a meeting in the Refugee Camp where is Colonel Faucheux with his well equipped troops, first i tried to talk to him but he goes away with his guards and right away your flanked by his troops where they put you in real trouble.

     

    I also heard you need to kill him right away there without any convo to get the Major, do anybody have a idea that can help me out please ?

     

    Guess you need to attack him from far right away without conversation ?

    This is very poor effort indeed, just American accent and over it a very dull one. I was expecting there would be at least 5 different voices for each male & female with different accents. The IMP back in JA2 was giving more of a feeling that your IMP is a leader but in JA3 its simply tasteless.

    Totally agree they put minimum effort for IMP, just like you said like it was a last min addition.

    There is also very few IMP models, was expecting at least 10 models for each male and female.

    But the few models are good though, which i cant complain, i like the commando type guy with the red beret and also the black guy with the shades on.
