Definitely something needs to be done about live wires ability and cost as she's so cheap in comparison to other mercs.

I managed to increase a merc from level 1 to level 3 but his salary costs were the same as when I first hired him. I'm abit shocked about this as in JA2 their wages increased with every level gained.

So do merc wages increase at all?

Can someone please explain (basically as possible please as I'm not computer skilled) how I go about finding and installing them please as I'm totally confused!

In the new patch notes it says that there are some sample new mods (new operation/new merc etc..) but where are they found as at time of writing there isn't any thing in steam workshop.

It's a shame that there isn't a wider range of imp voices and the ability to pick between them and the portraits just as JA2 did as gave some variety.

I'm not all that clear about the workings of overwatch for example what difference does drawing a large targeting cone have over a small targeting area?

Also how is overwatch triggered? Is it just movement in the area or someone taking an action such as shooting?

Maybe having wounds causes you to have a minus (amount depending on wound level) to attacks/skills would make them more consequential.

Thanks for the answers everyone but this leads me to another question what's the difference between a first aid kit and a medical kit? In the JA2 you could only heal using a kit but that's covered by meds now.

Other than reducing your overall HP I haven't noticed any other negative effects from receiving wounds but to be honest, I didn't pay attention to it too much. 😄

What effect do wounds (if any) have apart from reducing max health and what does first aid do to a character?

Also do you have to apply first aid to a merc when combat ends or do they automatically heal?

I'm abit confused about the taking cover option in combat. Sometimes I can but the majority of times it seems I can't even though I'm in cover.

How does this work?

Gulp!.. I'm currently using a mod that blinds you as an effect of a headshot, I'm starting to reconsider it now I know this.
