Jagged Alliance 3 - Gear Appearance

I dont know if anyone else posted about it on here, but am at least happy that the gasmask appears on your mercs, is it with some helmets like that too later in the game ? You see its not a hard thing and they dont look like the same, they should normally make appear the gear (helmets, googles, vests and may even backpacks visible). It brings so much life to our characters and they look at least half way ready for battlefield.
