  1. Uhh... apparently there are some steps you need to go through for the multi imp to work. I have no idea how I got it to work my first try. Just one more weird set of circumstances to make me look like an idjit.
  2. I have Multi Imp and a portraits mod installed. When I first tried it, I could have as many IMPs as I liked. Then I messed around with the portraits and now I can only have one IMP. I did notice that the order of the mods in the mod manager changed. There doesn't seem to be any way to re-arrange them, except they seem to be ordered by when the mod was installed.
  3. I know that all the issues people have with the game will be ironed out in time, either via mods or through the devs. What I am truly hoping for is that they keep this game going with DLC's that add new missions. Re-playability is a concern of mine. I figure I might play though this game four or five times before shelving it for a few years, like I did with JA2. That bothers me since I love the mechanics in the game. JA1 and JA2 were the best games in their time for strategic game play. Modern games like Fallout 4, don't even allow you to go prone. It's basically a shooter game since shooting things is mainly what you do, short of building settlements, but it lacks shooting tactics.
  4. I couldn't believe how they did the shops. I clicked on one, trying to interact with the vendor, nothing happened, clicked again, and I guess I bought whatever they were selling. Since I don't wear glasses to play games, this happened a couple of times before I realized what they had done. In short, the vendors are incredibly lame. Something you might find in a 1980's game.
  5. Before, in earlier games, you used to drop guns on the ground and the militia would pick them up. Thus you had some control over the equipment they were using. Is there a way do that in JA3? I've dropped guns but nobody picks them up. Kinda sad if you can't.
  6. Since we are controlling multiple mercs we should be able to pause, give orders and then unpause. Several times I happen upon a group of enemies with five or more mercs at my command. Its kinda frustrating to me that I can only shoot with one merc at a time. It'd be nice to have an option to take out two or more of the enemy before the actual combat ensues by having more than just one of your mercs take a shot. Right now surprise attack tactics are pretty limited. Also, in sector defense, getting all mercs in position before the enemy attacks is nearly impossible since you have to find each merc, and then find where you want them. The scrolling isn't very smooth, which makes it more difficult. Oh, and different topic, people seem to move to fast. I had a merc on a rooftop, before actual combat began. I was going to set up overwatch on the ladder when suddenly an enemy just appeared on the roof at the top of the ladder. There was no animation of him actually climbing the ladder, he was just there. I don't know if this had anything to do with how fast people seem to walk in the game that caused it to just skip the animation. But characters do seem to move rather quickly.
  7. Last time I played JA2 was about 3 years ago. And I remember the inventory system was modded in this way. I LOVED it, but it WAS a mod. It'd be nice if we get another mod like it for JA3.
  8. Ok, so the bad guys are coming after my sector. I get a notification and told to set up my mercs to defend the town. I do so. Bad guys get there. I have to re-deploy my mercs??? Oh, and I can't deploy my snipers on rooftops for some reason. And everyone is limited to where I can deploy them. I'm seriously thinking of giving up on this game for this, and only this reason. It makes no sense! You know the enemy is coming, you should be able to set your defenses as you want them, before they get there. At the VERY least, you shouldn't be restricted as to where you set your mercs in a town you control. That last part is what really irks me. Minor concerns that may be remedied with mods; IMP portraits. Not sure why nobody wants to make it simple to have custom portraits any more. Loot drops. One out every seven or more dead guys actually have ANY loot. What are they shooting me with??? Oh, and aside from all that, I'm really glad you decided to continue the jagged alliance series. You could make a ton of DLCs for this. Thanks.
