One of the many drawbacks of not having proper vendors. We need Bobby Ray's and Tony! ๐

But...they did.
No, it's the same few from the beta.ย

Running fine here on 9700k with 3080 Ti. Running 120 FPS at 1440p on ultra settings. I have had a few crashes here and there though. I run my fans a little high anyways since, well, their job is to cool things off and I'd rather run things cooler if possible vs less noisy and warmer. Mind you I wear Audio Technica M50xBT2 headphones so I don't hear them at all. ๐

I want to tell a few facts here about our IMP, what i directly noticed after 10 hour gameplay is our merc (even if our IMP has a solid leadership) it just doesn't feel like a leader or commander of our squad like it did back in JA2 (where our merc thrown some speeches once a while, directly from the game you could feel its our main merc and the leader of the team, as he/she would have the letter of Enrico), i would always let my IMP talk to the NPC`s most of the times but its greatly missing in JA3.
ย
I dont want to cry too much but the base game has only 5 or 6 portraits (models, i like the models though all are serious looking) in total which is too small imo (there should be some more in the base game) and also we dont have a voice option again (all have their American accents which is pretty dull imo.) Yes with modding we can change all that but still the base game should offer us more options imo.
ย
So overall in the base JA3 IMP creation is pretty poor, no voice options to choose from, cant select a flag of nationality for our merc (which could be easily done) and most importantly our IMP is not giving us the leader feeling anymore.
I was really hoping they would have added more IMP merc portraits before release and was shocked they didn't.ย

I miss Bobby Ray's aswell as Tony. I really don't like the crafting direction they went and have been complaining about it for months. ๐ย

This was my fear. Shops are terrible and there is no where to sell weapons. I knew there would be no Bobby Ray's but this is just bad. Thought at least we'd have a Tony equivalent.ย

Looks like the Bear's Pit just recently added some dedicated forums for JA3. No action there yet by the looks of it though. I few people have recently been posting in the JA3 subreddit I noticed. Probably just been a little slow everywhere since we've been drip-feed info to this point and with the release date only a few days, we're all starting to come out of or shells. haha I'm a big fan of subreddit so I'll be doing most of my posting there once the game releases.
Note, I have added links to all relevant resources so far in the JA3 subreddit to the resources tab and will continue to do so if more pop up.

Yah I mean that was Google translate so it could be a mistranslation too... Maybe I shouldn't have announced it as fact ๐

Not interested in a CtH mod but I find it hard to believe the devs are implementing a CtH mod on Day 1 considering their past stance on CtH. Guess we will find out in a few days. Won't be a mod I'll use but I guess it will make some people happy if it's true.

How is the the base number of action points a merc has determined?
Action points are based on the mercs agility stat. The higher the agility stat, the more action points.

Sorry I'm not on the Reddit so I believe the only option is to write here. First of all thanks for updating the spreadsheet with the new guns โ seems now it includes all weapons no matter whether we know the stats or not. If so - maybe you could be interested in adding another two guns to the list: AK-74 seen in Fidel's backpack (it's definitely a 74, not a 47 we've already seen) and AKS-74U found in the "Wider picture" trailer.ย
Gus has a new revolver in his backpack as well but unfortunately I know nothing about revolvers and can't identify itย ๐
Added the AK variants. I started adding weapons even if I didn't have all the stats recently as I figured it would save me time upon release.
That revolver reminds me of the Barracuda (I think that's what it was called) from JA2 but I'm not all that familiar with handguns myself.

Bro if they had good education they didnt work in THQ support. This is obvious.
You said you 100% know all of their education backgrounds so why is it so hard for you to list them? How many mods are there anyways?
-
I'm still waiting for the list of mods and their individual educational backgrounds. I understand it's probably going to take you awhile to compile so I'll wait a little longer. You said you knew them 100% so it shouldn't be that hard to list them all though.

100%. They cant even read 1 page of Steam rules.
Ok. Can you please list them all including each of their educational backgrounds then?

THQ moderators and devs are different people. Haemimonts have more IQ.
So you know all of the mods and their education level?

For me joke is fine. For modern pathetic generation - mb its too much, i dont know. But Im old guy. Im from old internet, Im from times when internet was fun. When nobody crying about everything. This generation of people is weak. This is a time of weak people. Who afraid of everything, especially reality and want protection from everything.
Yes, THQ moderators not just low educated. They dont even read Steam rules. Cos Steam Support have no questions to me. But Steam Support is lazy as hell, so they want me to speak with THQ moderators.
So THQ moderators tell me i violate Steam rules, but Steam Support tell me i violate JA3 Community rules which do not exist. There is no special rules in JA3 Steam.
I ain't no spring chicken either and I think a lot of us here are older than the you may think. The problem is you don't know the education level of the devs so claiming they are "low educated" is just being rude and is irrelevant to the situation that happened.ย
Also, if they are a mod, they can ban you for any reason they want. That's what mod power provides. Now whether it's justified or not is a different story.ย ย
-
The problem is the "joke" is not really funny and then you come here and give off a dickish vibe calling people "low educated". Not to mention it wasn't that long ago that you were trashing the devs and the game relentlessly.ย You went for a joke that didn't really work. That's alright, we all make mistakes.
The game comes out in a week. Give it a chance and if you don't like it, then rate it negatively because you don't like it or vice versa. Don't be spiteful about the whole thing as that will solve nothing.

Not interested in the Co-op myself but happy to hear and see the mod tools. It's better than I expected and hopefully adds to the longevity of this game like what modders did for JA2.

The small number of likes / dislikes uncovered so far track with JA2, nothing contradictory yet. But I've only added ones I'm sure of.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are all the same, with the exception of new mwrcs of course. Time will tell I guess.
