Turn of burst mode for overwatch?

Is there a way to turn off burst mode for overwatch? I want to do overwatches, but my mercs all just waste so many bullets when they have a gun that can shoot with burst mode...

I'm with you. I'd like to be able to decide if I want the mercs do single shots or bursts while overwatching.
