Andrew
Hi! I am wondering if you have plans to port this game to MacOs at all? Old Intel or the new M1/M2? Will the Mac users be able to run this game natively or at all? Thanks!
marcvolovic
Jagged 2 does run on Mac and I believe quite a few people would be delighted to have Jagged 3 on Mac, too.
konservendose
+1 for the Mac version. The Mac gaming community is not as small as it seems, especially for strategy games and the like. Xcom's Mac version performed quite well for example.
Image Miroir
+1 for the Mac version here too. I agree with Konservendose, there's strategy gamers community on Mac.
DonBilbo
Hi I would also approve of a Mac version. Especially if it would also support the new architecture like M1 and upwards. There are not many bigger games for M1. Maybe worthwhile to port it. Would this also help for Steam Deck compatibility?

Thats not really how processors work. Most processors utilize standardized commands. Its very unlikely that most people at Haemimont ever even have to think about the processor. Plus the processor isnt as important as people think. Its mostly GPU.
Image Miroir
It would be great to develop a version for tablets (even in the upcoming years), as the game could fit very well on that kind of devices.
DonBilbo
I like that idea. So +1 from me.
M1k3K
I'd love that too, then I would not need to hassle with an emulator or a VM. And also not talking about the old Intel plattform. M1+ all the way. And if it turns out somewhat similar to JA2, I'd for sure spring the cash for an iOS version... although I'd probably struggle with modding there. Remi1987
Bootcamp assistant with a *** Windows version. Still not sure why that doesn't solve any need for MacOS compatibility... curious to hear!
DonBilbo
Bootcamp does not work on Apple Silicon (M1/M2).
D13
In the short term I just hope it will be available on Geforce Now. Then it could be played on multiple platforms right from the start, while developers can focus on improving the game itself. And if JA3 becomes a success and a proper modding community develops around it, they can hopefully add native ports.
