  1. I think some do not get the concept of "generations". A generation describes a timespan in which the people were influenced by their cultural enviroment in a given age. So people born inbetween a timespan from 20-30 years are member of a generation, the ones on the edge could count itself to the before or upcoming generation aswell, its kind of fluid. Its a theoretical term... Your internal family generations, baby, parent, grandparent is slightly different Its because humans are born around the clock 😄 So it describes a popular mindset or the zeitgeist of a given time. Atleast thats how I get it... wikipedia describes it similar But its often gotten "wrong" by young people, not yet registering the world beeing in constant change :D#
  2. For me Pleatown Mine run dry after a few days ingame. BUT overall I would say there is WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too much income. Alone 4 Mines in Savanna + Port Cacao is too easy. Not to forget the drop (Diamonds etc) Aswell as there is no option to really spend it, except for Mercs...but Mercs on the Otherhand are not so urgent needed (I would say 8 is enough, 6 Squad + Tagteam for recruiting militia Income could and should be cut atleast by half...
  3. I did not take him down. Dont want to spoiler but Im unsure if he is the Kingpin counterpart... No Spoiler: there is already a hint in the first contact with him. He is no (really) bad guy: He deems slavery as unethical... But Im not done with the game yet, still at my first playthrough, maybe Im wrong. Edit: From what I have seen sofar, I would say IF then the Kingpin is located in Savanna top right (independent mine)

A predefined or rolled turn order is exactly what I dont like and why I always prefered JA2, so IF they had followed your proposal, they would be blamed by beeing way to much xcom 🙂 JA2 did not had it so JA3 does not have it, so this was expected. Nothing to argue. Btw. by beeing not predefined you have more tactical options so no Tic-Tac-Toe Anyway, are you taking your pills? 😄
  5. You are able to load, unload, modify and so on in strategic sector inventory, aswell as in tactical (right click on item, or square on ps gamepad) But yeah the inventory UI and management is not ready for release (I bet they did got into hurry)

  7. Great game you catched the spirit. I like the music, the mercs, the story, the quests, the combat. Awaiting a major (content) update (For free) and atleast 3 paid dlcs in the future 🙂 1. But as already stated multiple times: the inventory management system is best tossed into the bin and done completly new...at least filters please + smaller items in favour of more items visible at once. (how about positioning the right side merc inv vertically?!) Fiddeling with the inventory was a biiiig part of JA2, something which better should not be simplified too much 2. The questlog (Notes) should show a screenshot of the minimap and its position for each quest (as far as the information is already available), the mission text goes one layer above it. 3. The operations tab is per default in pause mode (fine) BUT the icons (for what they are doing) of your soldiers on the left side of the screen do not update while in pause. I do not really like the UI at all for operations but atleast let these icons update while in pause. For example: I set 3 mercs to heal, I dont see this in the left avatar(tag) icons till pause is over... 4. The learning operation is bad at all, how about showing all mercs of the current squad in this window, because now you have to choose which attribute to learn but while this menu is open you cant hover over the tags on the left to see the stats. This makes it tedious to config for a learning session. So the Strat Map UI should be redone or very well beeing polished, currently it feels like its just a placeholder?! Balancing seems (Im in Midgame) a bit off. Generally you miss to seldom. Sniper and hvy MG hits almost everytime... I dont think there is an ammunition problem (dont know if all guys already recognized that they could craft it) Long range Weapons even the shitty ones are to early abvailable imo. Granades do not pin down your opponents (no animation) Mainly because of the (Strat) UI, the game would get 89 of 100 by me. with a better Strat UI it would get an easy 95 !!! So again thank you, you honored the franchise...something noone before you was able too 😄 But please please, take care of it, like a servicegame (Anno) If it will continue to grow, the community will forget ja2 sooner or later 😄 I know most of the 1.13 stuff does not fit the carefully simplified approach but its a ton of inspiration to get from. Most loved DLC would be: an economy DLC, with real traders and the mercs showing what they are equiped with. (this Ja2 Vanilla also dont had but was modded in with a ton of effort (1.13 LOBOT) Edit: The deadlock bug of JA2 seems to have got a revival too 🙂 , every once and a while the turn got stuck, thanks to your nice saving system this is not bothering me so much
