I am currently browsing the page (identical to JA 3) "Knights of Honor II: Sovereign" and the first Dev Diares were released on December 10, 2019, the second on January 7, 2020 and the third on February 4, 2020, i.e. one Dev Diary every month. There are 22 of them at the moment.

How many parts do you think Dev Diary can have?
-
Anyway, the maintainer of our forum is Fabian from THQ Nordic. Of course, if someone wanted to know. 😉

Thankyou Wigen for copying and pasting my comment from the Steam forum 😕
I'm sorry @Tuckwit. It won't happen again. 😟

In my opinion, you shouldn't put so much pressure on the creators. It is worth noting that Haemimont Games, unlike other game developers that have so far created Jagged Alliance, is a very experienced studio because it has been producing games for over 24 years.
Of course, any criticism is admissible, but in this situation I would not exaggerate. I think the time will come for them to share their new material with us here on the forum. I guess it's a matter of days.

And I think that from tomorrow the situation will change and slowly, gradually, creators and developers will be visiting here.
At least I hope this one will...

In my opinion, the people from THQ Nordic will not tell us much about the mechanics on the game, so I wouldn't count on too much commitment. The only thing you have to wait for is someone's response from Haemimont Games. I think they have some kind of community contact there.

"Urban Strife" also says it will launch soon, but apparently won't be available until mid or late next year at the earliest.
I would be content with more communication from the creators here on the forum as well. I don't mind if they read all of our comments and make changes.
Or are they taking the "Gears Tactics" approach and staying silent to focus on the game and the most important aspects of it, and it will one day be "released next month"?

I am waiting the most for answers from the FAQ. DevDiary may even appear at the end of the year.

Although I am coming from the assumption that the longer the work on the game lasts, the better for the game itself.

Just now, GODSPEED said:
Xmas 2022 right?
Nope. He probably meant X-mas 2021. 🤔

A lot of questions fell on the FAQ created on Discord. I wonder when there will be answers.

On the game's discussion panel on Steam pltaform, one of the users noticed on the graphic that is the logo on FB the numbers on Ivan's [Romanian AK-47] gun that look like dates (something like "0210", "1018"). But they can also be some random numbers.

Let them release the game in Early Access. Then I would buy the game immediately, even with errors 😄

When release date?

Anyway, what we saw on the trailer does not look bad, and when it comes out, we'll find out.
What worries me the most:
1) an excess of non-switchable animations, which significantly extends the gameplay
2) making the mechanics shallow
3) poor AI

Yeah. I had to do a little "research" 😄

It would be enough if Jagged Alliance 2 refreshed graphically, because the throw that is in Jagged Alliance 2 is very good. They could add a world rotation to look at the tactical map from 4 sides, not just one and etc.
What's in Jagged Alliance 3 Anno Domini 2021 is simple so far, but it looks like a completely new game. Set in a different world. Something like Settlers, which after subsequent editions lost the spirit of the original.

There is still hope (if JA 3 would break expectations) in "Urban Strife", which, however, is kept in a post-apocalyptic atmosphere, which, of course, may not appeal to everyone because, for example, because there are many games set in such realities.

I can't even imagine "Jagged Alliance" without any kind of map editor.

I remember how the Polish Jagged Alliance community lived with news about each new part of the game. There were of course some disappointments along the way, of course, until the whole series seemed to be buried in full swing.
And here is a surprise and a preview of a new game from the Jagged Alliance universe.
Therefore, I have very high hopes and expectations from this game.

I have the same opinion as Inveris.
Do you think the Devs frequent this forum?

The answer is a bit laconic, but I think you will be happy 😉
