"Urban Strife" may turn out to be the best turn-based strategy in last years.
Except for the Jagged Alliance, of course.π

I realize and understand that in some matters you are not a decision-making person when it comes to information about the game and you do not have sufficient rights to provide us with such information here on the forum because you may face some consequences for it, and it is understandable.
Well, there is simply no one to pass this information on to us, because there are not many of them yet, but in any case I am an optimist and I will wait patiently π π

Nobody says that. As I mentioned, I realy respect the work of people who work at the THQ Nordic. Also yours @THQN FabianΒ π

The issue of releasing the game on the GOG platform two month's ago on Steam.Β

In my opinion, the forum needs such a person who is well versed in the work on the game and could possibly provide information like "be prepared because tomorrow this and this will appear" or "everything is on the right track, work on the game is going in the right direction" etc. I know that it may be difficult to implement in the near future, but I mainly mean providing such information from people who are "on the front lines".
Of course, I am respectful of @THQN FabianΒ work.Β

I think it would be advisable to create another topic "Discussion of developers' answers".
1. "Questions to developers" - only a question about the game, without the ability to comment or discuss the question of another participant.
2. "Answers from developers" - just the initial question and answer from the developer.
3. "Discussion of developers' answers" - here all community members discuss and comment on the question and answer.I have nothing against such topics there. You can even prepare and set up such topics. They're good for me. π

1. If it's not a secret, where did they say it?
On Private Message.
15 minutes ago, CatsPaw said:2. Who answered the question? Representative of THQ Nordic or Haemimont Games.
Representative of THQ Nordic but he is not on the JA 3 team.
20 minutes ago, CatsPaw said:3. Who will answer the questions?
It will probably be the person designated by THQ Nordic for this. I can't quite define it.

I got a reply today from one of the THQ Nordic representatives. They will probably send us someone who will be responsible for contacting us. π
They just need to find out about the situation and find such a person and find such a person and that he should visit us regularly.

Today, THQ announced the premiere (March 1, 2022) of Elex II. Probably the turn of Jagged Alliance 3 will come soon.

What do you feel about the requirements?
I probably won't play. My equipment is too weak. Maybe in the future I will watch myself on YouTube π

Below are the official hardware requirements of the Jagged Alliance 3.Β I know that the requirements should not be completely suggested because they are usually taken from the Moon, but what do you think about them? Isn't it too high hardware requirements for such a game?

- CPU: AMD FX-830 / Intel i5-4690K
- RAM: 6 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960
- HDD or SSD: 20 GB free space
- Others: DirectX 11

By the way, I'm curious if anything has changed in the game since the trailer we were shown in September. Did they come out of the pre-alpha version at all.

All I want is a JA2 on a more modern engine, is that to much to ask. I agree lets hope this game gets it right.
You know, it is not enough to make a good game on similar principles, because after 20 years you will not feel the same emotions anymore, and they greatly intensify our impressions and memories.
But if approached on the basis of new experience, it can be successful.Β π

The shotgun lying on the table, which Ivan uses later in the trailer, is the Italian M1014 (Benelli M4). A weapon known from the Counter Strike game.

Ah, those unfortunate 5 minutes to edit a post...π
But never mind most.
However, if these were not questions from Discord, the first entry will probably be to describe the general vision of the game and its main assumptions.
Just like here...Β

I think the first DevDiary entry will be the answers to the questions asked on Discord and subsequent entries may appear e.g. every month.

What's a bit deflating is the lack of commentary from the developers in here.
The CTO of Haemimont Games a month ago assured that communication on the forum will be revived over time.Β I trust that they will keep their word π
Or maybe there will be a representative of the community from THQ Nordic.

That is why I believe that November and December are the months when new materials about the game should be gradually released. π

I collect and post on the forum everything that contains information about Jagged Alliance 3. Even the information that is repeated. It may also happen that one day something we didn't know about the game will come up. π

As you can see, each developer has a different approach to communicating progress on the game and this has to be respected. π Another gives earlier and the other later.

In the future, weβll be posting regular DevDiaires to give a unique behind-the-scenes perspective of how weβre building this game to be a true successor for a beloved franchise.
The only thing we are waiting for are answers to some of the FAQ questions from Haemimont Games. This should be followed by the successive addition of DevDiary by THQ. And that's it. π

My questions sofar

I once mentioned this in another thread, but I will repeat.
Introducing a fully destructible environment to the game is always a lot of work, money and resources, I am very curious to see what will come of it.
On the shared screenshots from the game I saw bullet holes, so nothing is a foregone conclusion. π
