  1. I've yet to find a M82 in my game and I'm almost done with it. Game really needs enemies with more varied equipment to loot or give us a Bobby Ray/Tony to cover up for poor RNG
  2. I've made sure to run around on the maps as much as possible with my IMP to let him grab all herbs yet he still hasn't gained a single wisdom. I did however have Livewire gain a wisdom when I deployed into a map within distance of a herb bush and she got it of course so now I know it's possible at least
  3. It's really a dumb mechanic. Having a single mine or so run out during the course of the game like in JA2 would be fine but essentially putting you on a hard time limit is too much IMO.
  4. A hundred herb bushes later and still not a single wisdom gained. At this point I'm even questioning if it does train your wisdom
  5. It's such a disappointment to be honest, both as a sequel to JA2 but also as a new game in general. Game should been in early access for at least 6 months or had a lot more in house testing because there are a lot of downright mind boggling design choices and lack of fine tuning.
  6. No clue but I would suggest you skip that mod anyway. It really ruins the game experience. At least give it a try for a few hours beforehand and you will realize how much superior it is
  7. It's already a decision. NVG would obviously be pricey and not super common so you would still have to decide whether to invest and how heavily. Go play JA2 and you will see it's plenty of challenging even if you can equip all the best items together, especially getting your hand on all the best items in the first place. Hating on long time fans being disappointed is a bad look and I'm sure you are better than that
  8. Nicely said! It echoes my own sentiment about the new Xcom games. A lack of freedom of choice, you either go with A, B or C. In old X-com you could use your strong soldiers to carry a lot of extra stuff and investing extra money into extra utility should be a possibility, not a question of whether you bring X or Y with you. I feel like this game is gonna fall short of the mark, too much influence by neuXcom. At least we don't have to suffer with a 2AP system, that has to be the biggest damage neuXcom has done to the turn based genre.
