  1. At first when I saw this one it sound like a filler diary. Now reading through it it certainly shade some more light on yet another very interesting aspect of the game development. Cool to see some fireworks on the end too, that tapped to my inner satisfaction of seeing things go boom. I would love to see some more destructible environment but that will do for now.. Personally I dont mind some of the crafting aspects of the new JA but the gear modifications definitely look like it has gone through couple too many streamlining passes with everything reduced to scrap management. Whilst having couple resource types make this little bit more digestible but as some stated it does lead to some ridiculous equipment repurposing. Also agreed that detachable attachments would make a lot of sense. For the main topic, I actually do not see much problems with absence of the Bobby. If replaced with multiple shops in various locations we might end up with good enough shopping system. One of these things that we have to playthrough to see how it worked out.

Couple questions for Ian, apologies in advance for any possible overlap with other contributors JA3 by Haemimont #1 Has Ian played new JA3 or these days (of playing games) are long gone? #2 If Ian has played JA3 what was his must have merc (or squad) in starting lineup and his fav merc moving on. #3 What was his favorite feature / change implemented in JA3 by Haemimont (except writing ;)) and perhaps missing in the past installments. #4 What was the IT factor that convinced him to come back and work with Haemimont on JA3? #5 How was it to be back at it again, working on new game, on new JA? #6 Any thoughts on simplifications introduced by Haemimont (like shared storage, no magazines, lack of some item slots)? Back to the past #7 How was all these years between JA2 and JA3 by Haemimont. Was there other JA projects that he was asked to join? #8 Was there sense of loosing some of the JA legendary status build with JA1/2 and being disrupted by offshoot developments? #9 What was the decision making process with the lack of % hit chance. In the past it was somewhat common but certainly nowadays it is very rare. Was that the tension / chaos building mechanism or there was factors that lead to this decision? Was he proud dad to hear that Haemimont was back at it, going against the grain, and letting the chaos reigns? In between #10 How challenging was the process of introducing so wide cast of characters to JA series? Secondly whilst the base is very strong but was it even more complex in JA3 with new expectations like graphical differentiation, extensive VO and PC culture nowadays? Off topic #11 Can Ian help us to save Magic? Magic is highest Agility merc but does not look like. I dont mind his style, just please slim poor fellow down to match his stats. Closing #12 We express great appreciation for all joy and challenges that he was part of creating with JA series. Thank you for all the sleepless nights, planning moves, going through memories of failures and possible solutions. Thank you for random grenade falling under feet on whole team when moving between sectors.. And finally thank you for joining Haemimont with their own journey with JA and helping them shaping next step in JA series.

  5. I think that there is just one way to show online coop .. hopefully they wont write about it but show it instead! Looking forward to see @Haemimont_Boian with @Haemimont_Boyan showing it off on one of the steams. Other couple would be totally fine, but being confused and meeting other Boyan should be fun 😄
  6. I would disagree with that. A lot of that in previous installments was already there. If anything now it is easier to understand and plan things accordingly. Style might not be everyone liking and I can appreciate that. Personally I'm on board.
  7. A lot of that is cringe for sure 😄. Characters are over the top no holds barred style and I kind of dig that. Sure it is not for everyone liking but you cant blame for dev middle road this as many developments now a day trying to please everyone, entertain every kink out there. For better or worse devs are full throttle into this style and I for once appreciate it.

Pretty chilled video, a lot of running 😄 I'm loving the urban environments, fights could be amazing or a nightmare depending how things work out 😉 A lot of effort was put into the VO, definitely pays off with all the different accents and characters coming to life, granted some way over the top but still cool!
  9. Another great diary guys! This together with the world and quest aspects looks most polished from everything that we seen so far. I hope that the combat and challenge of it will be up to par and we are good! See you guys on next stream 🙂

  13. @Gadina appreciate any details. Being dev myself (not as exciting stuff might you), I'm always intrigued with the backend of the creative process. From what you write and what was shown through dev diaries its shaping up to be quite an adventure. We all are looking forward to get it started! On other end, for you guys it must be a nail biter! Anyhow everyone is excited 😄
  14. I'm hyped but vigilant, 4/5. A lot of effort has been put into world building, graphic, style (whether you like it or not), music etc It would be foolish of THQ to invest so much into this if they would not see light on the end of this endless remake tunnel. If they can sort out some of the obvious bugs we have seen in playthroughs and improve AI its shaping up to be great adventure, thats all what I'm hoping for.
  15. I'm digging the art style of game. It could be bit more gritty but I will enjoy regardless. Sure there are some misses here and there (poor Magic :/) but otherwise it is very decent effort. Certainly not an easy task when you are trying to make unique characters in already narrow pool of options. Defiantly you cant make everyone soldier'esk type if you are going for that uniqueness. Send Magic Mike to liposuction clinic or steroids enhanced transformations to match that 99 agility and we are good. Heck he can still be humming little bit Monica in my life and I will be just fine!
  16. I'm loving the idea! Couple cameos would be awesome addition and @Gadina is certainly the character! Perhaps RPC stuck in bank heist that you randomly save from being stoned to death?? I'm in!
  17. I might be fool but I grabbed it immediately. Huge fan of series, burn out on the recent developments but this one brings hope. Its not going to be game that everyone wants but I believe that all the efforts they put and show us through dev dairies coming well together. It have decent chance to be very good exp and with a bit of luck and embrace from players it could be great launching pad to restart the series, that is the hope.. In my books it already deserves pre-order just for the above reasons. I'm super keen to start building my team and kill one more dictator 😄
  18. Hey @Gadina, can you give us some sense of scale of this endeavor? Ie How many people work on quests, how many did you cook up for us and most importantly is there any bank robbery ??

  20. I like how much effort your team pour into building this world, quests, characters. Something that land a bit flat in previous entries. Whilst its a bit of distraction from main hassle but definitely help to immerse into game and add replayability. Loving all dev diaries and looking forward to new footage on next stream! (stream schedule reminder would not hurt..)
