  1. ---Just guessing---;Maybe CoD or Battlefield fans hop over because they are disappointed with recent releases
  2. Top 5 Deathbed regrets (people who are dying speak out about their regrets in life): https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2012/feb/01/top-five-regrets-of-the-dying If there would be a 6th one: Didn't create a Rado merc
  3. YouTube comments as well as Discord complain too about the new look of Magic the salsa teacher
  4. Barry WAY underpriced in this game. He comes with 667 skillpoints total, 78+ stat for 5 areas. He should be AT LEAST 10k. Only "but" is his markmanship, only 70.
  5. JA Upgrades, Where we are, and where we want to go.
  6. Option-2. (I'm not aware of option-3) What made it annoying in JA2 in the topic of resource collection, sorting etc., was the amount of crap items like rock, elastic, steel pipe, etc. It that can all be bundled that's another solution. Seperate parts for weapon modding, like lense, steel pipe and what not BUT not all in inventory slots. Shared inventory is a terrible idea because it removes the possibility of a merc running out of ammo while another merc still has. I want to have this game element.
  7. Yes. And if you speak to everyone, you speak to no-one. The hardcore fanbase won't be served well, i'm afraid.
  8. MAGIC yes, Look at how that hat is pasted on his head, in reality he doesn't even wear a hat like that. It is misplaced in a weird angle. He went from dangerous mob to cuban salsa teacher cq picasso street artist, where a paintbrush is his favourite weapon.
  9. Re: initial topic; that's based on the beta status, they have still about 6 weeks to fix things, if this doesn't get fixed, I consider the overall game development as incomplete, and it should be highest prio to get it fixed asap after launch.
  10. I go try this game w/o wearing armors if I keep seeing the 1,6,7 damage hits what i've seen in the playthroughs.
  11. Yes, men turned into cute little boys.
  12. If all obvious things like these (hit animations, duplicate animations of enemies dropping dead, mines inside of houses, and more) won't be fixed, the games is gonna be okay at best.
  13. A shop where we can buy some Bud Light would be great.
  14. It's easy to load in merc's stats in a spreadsheet in Excel, already done by a forum guy here in another thread, then make some formulas; for example: stat/cost, example markmanship skill / total cost. If you then set a filter for lets say 80+ markmanship, you find the best skill for your buck. Same for explosives, doctor and medic, mechanic skills, etc. I think a good Markmanship, at least 80, and a good doc, and average mechanic / explosives, is the minimum to look for. That's how I first find a cheap but good 3-squad team. Later make extra small sized squads. I believe a squad of just 3 carefully selected squad members; 80+ ish for markmanship, one doc, one mech, can be self-sufficient. Leadership seems rare. Create that with own merc creation system. I'm planning on making 3 ppl squads, first 1, later 2 then 3, and then work the map with these 3 teams. For bigger operations these can merge into a 6 ppl squad to hit a sector. I don't like switching between squads in same sector. Then this; Dependent on how vendor shops, bobby ray, etc will finally be implemented, a few mule characters (high strenght, to carry and sell stuff).
  15. Well, weather or not that option is there, I go play it myself that way. Iron Man type of style, except bugs, blunders, misclicks etc.
  16. Someone feels called to set up a massive poll, in the right way, where we have limited votes, and vote for the major aspects to be included or fixed? AI, difficulty, mission variety, hit animations, you name it...
  17. Would be nice if we have a few different options to increase our enemy opponent difficulty: +10% +20% extra enemies and/or hitpoints and/or hit chance. Still feel this game is too easy, I've gone through quite a lot of footage. Take the highground, get cover, almost all torso shooting except the high marksmans guys. Haven't seen a SINGLE squad member got hit over 60% damage. No grenades exploding on them. I don't sense any danger from anything and anyone. Mostly sitting ducks who seem to have always the disadvantage. The opponents miss a lot, they rarely hit mercs. And a lot of 1-6-7 damage type of shots IF they even get hit. Serious issue. I miss the challenge ( based on what I do have seen thus far)
  18. Yeah, Inventory Management. Just like reloading happens automatically once a sector is cleared, we can redistribute bullets in a certain way or have people preconfigured to carry max 2 full magazines for example, rest lands in a mule. It is just a terrible idea to have this all shared; it's childish and again prevents crisis situations where one merc is out of ammo. THAT's the moment I'm looking for personally, look, oh shit, how to get out of this now. Many of this is prevented, which really bums me. Same for cover, it is already shown it is 'destructable'. Guys, let me FIND OUT it is destructable. JA3 needs a pro review, seriously. I've seen footage with MINES places INSIDE A HOUSE. Guys, for real? Why not boobytraps trip wires, or something. These are tactical blunders that really hurt the game imo.
  19. Looking at the spreadsheet, let's give this example. I want to have a team with Scope and Scully. Current Leadership max is Scully with 70. Then Raider has Leadership 91, he can be temporarily hired, train Scully to 90, then Raider is fired, from then on Scully can train all team members to 89 correct. And doing this for all specs.
  20. Would love to have an edible copy of the file, for the following reasons: Get some formulas for skills per dollar (ratio = skill / cost), so: What's the best ratio for let's see Medic, Leadership, Explosives and for what price. Assuming 80+ skills. I am thinking about deploying a "Hire, Train-Team, Fire"-Strategy. This for leadership, medic and explosive skills. Make small all-star teams, 3 people only; 1 pro Medic, 1 pro marksman, 1 pro explosive guy. Squads w 3 ppl only. Then have 2-3-4 teams running around and scouting the map.
  21. High Quality Laptop Case, pick 2 dimension options that cover 80% of laptop users, with A.I.M logo and JA3 logos on it would have done the deal imo. Quality Leather Belt, or a clip on buckle only even JA3 Army style Water Bottle, 2L, people will use and bring it endlessly to the gym and what not, perfect promotion. An extra pin w other promo symbols JA3 card holder for credit cards, business cards, etc. Knucklebusters, Kingpin boxing ring logo stuff on it (and make this a return to JA3). And the Marketing Winning Idea guys, yes DM me if you want more of these gems; High-Quality Leather Phone Protector. Key here is high quality stuff. 197 bucks. I'm the first one who buys it.
  22. A difficulty to make enemies more though or the game more unforgiving. I am going one playthrough and i wanna make it an unforgettable one.
  23. In terms of price. I hope it goes for 70 USD, and they make a came to live up for that, and if it's not yet on launch, they tweak it onwards.
  24. Strategic elements need to be fixed. Less clunkiness, shooting own cover, grenade ending at ones own feet, super STUPID actions like that. Guys we are dealing with paid mercs, not with kids we grab out of a theme park rollercoaster and shove a gun in their hands instead of an icecream. Hiding player count before entering a sector. These "feats" are soo anoying. I want to be unsure after killing 2 people, if there are 2 or 20 more in the sector. There's the Thrill for me. Oppontent Intelligence. Let them hit us. Like for real. Ending out of cover, oops, dead. Not 50 verbal comments "oew, that was close" "ow I felt the wind of the bullet"(giggle giggle). I want to play this game on the top of my chair and get amped up. SERIOUS difficulty is what I want. I go play x-com style, once dead, no reload (unless it is by a bug, one of these stupid own hand grenade kills or other crap that shouldn't be there) Here these icon sizings discussion; I'll bring in this argument. It does reflect real life as well. Some people have big fat faces, other ones are so cute which makes you want to squeeze their cheeks. Now yours turn again, bring it on!! (Zzzzz)
  25. Throwing 2 grenades, yeah, after I saw that I was very doubtful if it delivers that powerful JA2 vibe.
