A good film was Rambo: First Blood
In it, corrupt and sadistic deputies falsely arrest a vietnam vet drifter who just wanted to be left alone. During the interrogation scene, John Rambo experiences a PTSD episode and overpowers the sadistic deputies and runs off into the woods
Ironically, with the exception of one police officer who falls off a helicopter, there are no kills in the movie
The entire point of the film is that the deputies drew "first blood", not him, and that while deputies are traditionally seen as positive characters (and they are complex characters in the movie with multiple overriding and conflicting motivations, some positive some not, much like Rambo himself), here they find themselves fighting an unjust war against a man who was just existing, and ended up being in the right.
