  1. that is a good aspect and would work, but since we don't even have weight as a factor yet I guess the inventory sizes will be part for modding community in the future..
  2. and those inventorys look ugly as hell. i prefer the current JA3 (JA2) style a lot more than that from your post. it really gives me eye-cancer.
  3. that could be possible. only two weeks until we find out, I guess. But i would also prefer more AP.
  4. I actually prefer the more realistic, less comic-like look they have now. So dull = better Bright = too cartoonish. I think the art direction is fine in this case!
  5. Bro that would not work. Imagine the Barret beeing 140cm long. A 911 is 21cm long. Now take the available size of the inventory and scale that up/down. It just would not look right.
  6. well tbh Stanley didn't look badass in JA2 neither.
  7. In the recent trailer you could see the enemies exploding, instead of being thrown away. question mark will be, how this is gonna look like when you use a concussion/stun grenade for example.
  8. Once I'm familiar with the game, that's definitely how I'm gonna play a playthrough for sure!
  9. What for? If the DEVs don't start it, we don't need to "wish" us anything. I guess whoever reads the forums is aware of our concerns and priorities, no?
  10. Sometimes you could play games like Tomb Raider etc. a day before release, because it was Single Player and was shipped by Amazon the day prior to release. But that is hardly the case anymore since mostly you will have a huge day 1 patch that will only be available upon launch.
  11. Current COD doesn't even have license name to use MP5 or AK47. They call them "Lachmann Sub" or "Kastov 762" I don't mind that - but a simple community mod for weapon names would be easy. This way you don't have licensing issues...
  12. Watch Call of Duty DMZ Youtube Videos. Even a billion dollar company is not able to make AI play by the rules. COD AI shoots you through walls, doors, even if you're in houses. From a hundred meters away. It's unbelievable how bad the enemy KI sometimes behaves. So if we have halfway decent/intelligent enemies, maybe with AI that does some flanking and not running straight into your ambush that would be great. I would also love to see some tactical retreat with smoke grenades or something similar. Operation Flashpoint however was quite hard anyway. One hit could kill you if you were unlucky, but OF will always be a core memory for me. "Move to - bush" is stuck in my head forever. OF is also 20 years old or something? So I would guess KI is smarter by now, if you don't re-invent the wheel.
  13. Well 45 is not uncommon for an indie game either. If it was 70-80 i would be upset and not buying the game. And I can imagine that even 45 is a lot depending where you're from - not saying 45 wouldn't be much to me myself, but i always calcuate fun/gametime per euro so ... if we have 30 hrs campaign for 45€ this would be pretty decent I guess.
  14. Ofc, different people have different priorities but ... isn't it a good sign if the thing to discuss is merc portraits instead of other gameplay things? I mean .. i can live with almost every portait if they'd change the inventory. (and yeah, i can already hear somebody scream CTH) What I want to say: i'm happy that ppl want the small things, instead of the big ones changed...
  15. **Jagged Alliance 3 is currently in development for PC and is set to release on July 14th, 2023 at an SRP of $ 44.99 / € 44.99. ** Wishlist here: https://thqn.net/ja3-steam
  16. From the official JA Discord: This really, really, really makes me happy and makes sure the platform/basis of the game will prolong maybe as long as JA2 did. I'm really curious if we will be able to mod Skins as well, just in case we dislike the enemy player models. I mean - the Steam Workshop offers a lot of opportunities for those kind of things. But: let's wait for the Vanilla first and see where things go from official side, first! Anyway, what are your thoughts?
  17. I'm on chrome and I don't have that translate option.. Ofc i could install some translation add-on but i usually don't need it...
  18. Oh, another Typo like @Solaris_Wave mentioned: The green sentence "This chanel .." .. it's channel. Chanel is the french luxury company 😉 @Haemimont_Boian thanks for the feedback, it's always nice to see you guys reply to our concerns!
  19. Can you please post in english so others can read your comment, too?
  20. Please tell us those are actual screenshots and not old ones. even though CtH is out (which is good) these look phenomenal. The hint with Ivan's eye is correct, but damn. That face looks amazing! Man, that is how I want all the portraits to look like. I'm .. almost speechless, seriously. I love it.
  21. Though that is true, i think there is a better approach. Why not have Magazines AND shared inventory? But the shared inventory is only available at the map, while personal inventory is used in combat/sector or out of of combat. Example: you have 3 9MM mags on your soldier, if he runs out of ammo - your fault. you need to move to a close location in the back, where the "cart" with your shared inventory is. then fill up the three magazines and get back into battle. if you finished the battle, you find 10 more 9MM Mags. You decide to transfer all bullets into shared mag, the Magazines will be dissolved and you will just have a big box of 9MM Ammo. After he battle you can one-click "Fill-Up used Magazines and Guns" and all soldiers will reload and fill up their mags. Eases the micro management without taking away the little complexity of magazines and inventory management.
  22. your CTH crying is really getting boring. Because inventory MANAGEMENT was a crucial part of preparing your missions. if you ran into a battle, just to realize you swapped that Beretta for a Deagle, but didnt exchange the 7mm for .357 was ... funny and scary at the same time. CTH .. was not in the game, was not missed in the game and didn't change anything at all. exactly.
  23. this is the biggest bs you wrote so far. congratulations on that. It's so impressive that I'll put you on my ignorelist now. Exactly! The lack of information is what truly made JA2 great - estimating if it's smart to run to the next treeline, to move to that rock.. will I get hit? will I be able to hit myself? Maybe i should not crouch but prone and move forward. Is the grass high enough? All that added to immersion - if you can just indicate everything, there is absolutely no challenge left.
  24. that is also an important thing, thanks for mentioning this. i don't know why mercs have some free movement, the initial movement should be "penalized" to make it a real decision to move or not to move. That leads me to the 10AP decision.. not sure if it's a good thing or not, I would need to test it out myself if it feels "organic".
  25. Or if not a visible CtH chance - maybe more frequent comments on shots and maybe even on the shots of others, leading to some conversations/reactions: Wolf: "I'll eat a broom if he misses that shot" - miss Wolf: "Oh fuck me!" Fox: "You bet i will..." Raider: "No way she can make that shot" - hit! Raven: "You always underestimate me..."
