  1. Since I can't edit the post, here's some people on reddit sharing the "inventory is too big" issue:
  2. Good Morning Fellas, i hope you had an amazing weekend with hours of fun and entertainment. I've been playing for around 22 Hours now and I think I'm ready to give a little feedback. But first of all: haemimont games, congratulations, this game is amazing and a true jagged alliance! Kudos and thank you from my side. The new status effects are awesome and bring in a lot of new possibilities and i really really love sneaking and stealth combat. As with all games, some QoL Features would be nice and in my opionion some tweaks would be nice. Inventory: 1. Please bring in an auto sort function for the Sector Stash. Sort 2-Slot Weapons on top, then followed by guns, ammunition, knifes, tools and the rest. Or something like that. But please, bring us a sort feature. 2. Make the inventory icons smaller. And display more information. The scrolling is annoying, unfortunately. 3. Don't split Squad Supplies when you switch mercs to another squad. Or just give the new Squad ammunition for the weapons the merc carries. I ran out of 7.62 Nato ammunition during combat because i realized too late that my supply got split (early game). 4. Give us a "take all ammo" shortcut. "Take All" is not what I mostly want, I simply want to stack all ammunition. Combat: 5. Please make it so that you can only shoot when you click on the body part, e.g. head, arms, torso. I can't count how many times i accidentally shot the ground or an obstacle because I misclicked - i wanted to cancel the action and instead clicked somewhere in the screen - to see my merc is shooting instead of cancelling the action. Yes, this is a minor requestt but i annoyed the shit of me in the first few hours. 6. Bring in an item like "stones" or "empty bottles" which can be thrown like a grenade to distract enemies. If you want to stealth a sector you sometimes end up with two enemies standing close to each other and even though you sneak close to them (often triggering conversation and then movement) they would stand close to each other, making it more or less impossible to kill them stealthy. Other: 7. Bring in more items required for crafting. Parts, Lenses and Pipes is a little too less of items. You'll find yourself flooded with those during midgame, not knowing what to do with them anymore. @Community: What are thoughts?
  3. I guess no preload yet?
  4. then JA is the wrong game for you. if you're an perfectionist, look out for another game. or install the CtH mod. for me: i love the uncertainty, it's the thrill about it: Do I really need to throw the grenade? Will the sniper take him out before? Am I willing to take the risk or not? that is what i love about the game. decision-making, reacting to different outcomes, uncertainty. I can totally understand the approach, it can be devastatingly frustrating to not know where something took a wrong turn. but this is simply not JA. JA is -> make a dicision, try it out, live with that decision. Or reload your savegame and try a different approach.
  5. is is exactly about that. are you willing to waste the grenade? it adds to immersion, if you want a 100% run in the game, ofc CtH will help. But if you waste the grenade and the grenade you wasted would come handy later in the game -> this adds to the fun of the game. you used the granade, now live with it having one less. it is about the gambling decision - this is the very core of JA.
  6. If it's trivial, your brain will do it automatically once used to it. and that's that JA2 was all about. You could estimate, because you had the feel for it. no need to show percentages.
  7. You can bet I will upload a video myself. If I'll be writing it down, not quite sure about it.
  8. then don't play the game. or just download the mod. if you don't want to use your brain, why not just watch other poeple play games?
  9. The big streamers are already playing. dayum. I hope I'll still be able to publish some guides..
  10. That doesn't look too tactical but i love ALIEN. This shit gave me such goosebumps as a kid.
  11. I can totally understand. But since I've watched the gameplay from the first island anyway, I thought this could be a good idea to collect.
  12. I just confirmed my findings on reddit. Same loot in 2 different YT Videos. Let's see how ramdomized the rest of the loot will be.
  13. Hey guys, I'm not quite sure if we had the topic here yet, but it got me quite wondering why we didn't have a Forum at bears pit yet, let alone somebody making an HP as a knowledge base for JA3. @DougS2K made this awesome spreadsheet here and myself created a little starters item list on reddit. Do you guys have any other good sources or some place where we should collect the JA3 knowledge?
  14. For an experienced player? Why not? I guess it will depend how well stealth/throwing knifes etc work in JA3. My buddy soloed JA2 Vanilla with Shadow.
  15. Remember, you get about 20k after conquering the first town, Ernie (3rd Sector). So you might wanna start small and get some good guys after that.
  16. I guess we will need to investigate ourselves, a thing for my to-do list I guess.
  17. I reached out to THQ Nordic a few weeks ago and asked whether I would get the chance to stream the game myself, if there was another "beta" phase. Unfortunately my reach/audience is not big enough so they denied my request - that was just yesterday. So the reply came a little late - but maybe right in time to inform other streamers about an "early access" for them. I'm actually kinda sad others will get the chance to get their hands on first, because this will more or less rob others of the chance to be someone who discovers something first or who accomplishes some goals first.
  18. Mh, I always opted for options as a solution. But that was BEFORE they announced the huge mod support. And I think we wouldn't all be here without the modding community of JA2 at some point. For me it was stracciatella, for others it was 1.13. And please look at skyrim. I salute to all these people who have skills to put stuff like this off. I lake both the time and skills for it, so thank you to all modders.
  19. I dont' actually care about these goodies and since space in my flat is kinda limited, I feel these addons are just some dust collector. if i had more space, I'd consider buying special editions. but in this case, i never do.
  20. give it a few weeks and ppl will mod animations for it. Pretty damn sure this game has a lot of potential. If I was able to use blender, heck, I would mod myself I guess.
  21. Writing Bull is one of the most chilled streamers. He is actually so chill that sometimes he is a little boring. but i like him. I'm really going to stream JA3 and I'm pretty sure I will start making YT Videos for it, too. I gotta start somewhere haha.
  22. I actually see this as some mod that could be: Have a 1vs1 style game, where you need to kill all enemies (of the other player). You enter a sector, spawns are selected randomly, you have the same squad for equal chances and then you need to win. 1 minute per player per turn once the fight starts, so games would not take forever.
  23. So that would be around 3 o'clock in Germany or 2 o'clock in the UK. This means i could work almost a full day and don't have to spent extra hours. I like this.
  24. Haha, that's funny. These Toyotas are crazy. I think Toyota didn't know which bane they brought onto the world while engineering this vehicle ..
