  1. OMG! NGL, this game is hard, but in a good way. Haven't been challenged so much by a game, in such a long time. Thank You Ian, Thank You HG, Thank You THQ Nordic, Thank You everyone who worked on the game. Friggin can't stop playing. I'm here just for a short break. Leaving now, to jump right back in. SeeYa!
  2. I like how after combat, when exploring the village, the music changes and becomes calm & soothing. And because interactions in the village can take so long, there are more than one, several different music tracks. Good vibes.
  3. Just dial it down. I use DLSS, @67%, 60FPS, High settings. Runs like a dream, fan running quiet.
  4. 1> CtH 99%? In Jagged Alliance grenade can malfunction, grenade can miss target because Ice can't throw, Mouse can refuse to theow the grenade. As Igor was sneaking towards the tower, the sniper displaced and climbed down the tower, we saw this happen in the Russian beta preview you posted. Sniper rifle can jam, or miss shot due to bad weather. 2> CtH 100%? In Jagged Alliance, Kalyna can miss shot because she is injured, we saw this is Russian beta preview. And you had asked why sniper miss the shot? In Jagged Alliance, combat is unpredictable, you can't rely on CtH. In Jagged Alliance, you try more options to kill the enemy, put more shots on target, without getting your own mercs killed.
  5. Battlefield 4 Operation Locker: Highest Kill Streak 17 kills in a row.
  6. You know another example, in the Russsian Beta preview you shared to me? We see the Russian player, by co-incidence, setup the same very similar ambush scenario. The Russian player used best merc Ivan to explore, and Steroid and Kalyna as support base of fire. Steroid was on the .50 cal HMG, and Kalyna was above him with the sniper rifle. Only mistake player made, Kalyna didn't go prone behind cover. After Kalyna got hit, she loss some health and her shot become in-effective. But that's Jagged Alliance luck for you. CtH numbers then becomes next to useless. Sometimes you also need the good luck to be on your side.
  7. No, that is not what the player did in the video. He used his best merc Ivan first to setup ambush trap. Then he used Ice and Steroid as support base of fire. Notice how they still go down prone to cover. MD merc was just an available option B. And Ivan was another available option C.
  8. Have you watched the DasTactic No CtH video? The way he plays the game is an example of how we play the game. We move our mercs from cover to cover, so CtH number is not as important. If it's there, it's a help, but we are used to playing without CtH. For example, he showed MD merc up on the watch tower. Player already knows MD is a bad shot, so whatever is on the CtH for MD is really not useful info. He still uses MD to shoot, if MD hits, everyone will celebrate. If MD misses, maybe enemy will panic or maybe not. Player already had another backup plan just incase. Ivan is the best shot, and saves the day.
  9. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=382219695 LOL, I did the Shadow solo run in Flashback. You all just copied my idea.
  10. Ivan is mostly 'Offline' in the beta previews i have watched. So, didn't know if he was available or not at the start of the game. In Russian Let's Play today, one Russian player was able to start the game with both Igor & Ivan. "My Uncle makes me proud to be a Dolvich."
  11. What is the PH13 callsign? Slava Ukrani!
  12. People claim to be expert on NVG; but nobody talks about laser pointers. If you're going to shoot with NVG, you're also going to need ir or laser pointers. Then there's problem with lasers, as soon as you switch them on, the enemy with NVG can also see where you are.
  13. Wooop, Woooop, Woooop... Intruder Alert! Wooooop, Wooop, Wooooop...
  14. Seems to be standard issue once upon a time.
  15. Storm in a teacup? We can wear helmet and make do with night vision scope on the rifle (JAFlashback). Maybe we just wear the NVG with no helmet. Maybe enemy will be unable to see you good enough to target your head? Probably, we worry over nothing.
  16. I know! Trevor is the only merc with good wisdom, marksmanship, mechanical and explosives. Then all you need is IMP merc with leadership, marksmanship, and maybe just enough medical to apply bandages. I think medical could be optional, you just need to get as far as the rescue doctor mission and you are set for a doctor.
  17. This is JA, you have to try different strategies first, don't spend all your money on mercs in the early stage of the game. From what i've seen in the beta previews, the enemy never chase you, it's like they play a zone defence. So, maybe 2 good shooters can pick off one enemy at a time? Who knows? I will try this first, save some money.
  18. Starting off with 3 person team: 1> IMP (myself) 2> Trevor 3> Someone, whoever available in AIM with a good rifle who i'm going to fire after one day and keep their gun.
  19. Did you include a short summary of what you had edited in/out of the article? If not, it will be difficult to verify your contribution.
  20. Wait, you do understand you play the role of the boss? If any character piss you off, you can fire them. If you think about it, they were written that way. Some characters were racist, some were useless, some required more training than others, Ira's voice was annoying but you needed her and it was like slow torture, etc. You can only hire 20, maybe fewer if you have a smaller budget.
  21. I don't want demo, i want early access, ...all this waiting is giving me emotional damage.
  22. Is there a stamina bar? There's only one blue bar below the merc portrait. Is this the health bar? Not sure if you want drinking water to restore health.
